Our Founder
With over 15 years of experience in education, Dorothya is a passionate and results-driven educational coach and consultant specializing in school counseling, leadership development, mentorship and career guidance. Throughout her career, she has built strong, supportive relationships with students, parents, faculty, and administration, while applying her counseling expertise to foster academic achievement and personal growth. She has led successful initiatives to enhance counseling services, increase CTE (Career and Technical Education) completion rates, increase in College and Career Readiness rates and achieve a 100% satisfaction rate on on the South Carolina Department of Education's Parent & Guardian Climate Survey
Her approach to educational leadership emphasizes comprehensive counseling programs that prioritize both academic and emotional well-being, and she is skilled at tailoring action plans that address specific gaps in student achievement.
Beyond her role as a school counselor, Dorothya is a dynamic mentor and coach, supervising and guiding future counselors from South Carolina State University and the University of South Carolina. She also has a track record of developing and delivering impactful training sessions, presentations and workshops designed to equip educators with the tools they need to support students and promote positive change within their schools.
Whether working one-on-one with students or coaching educators she brings a wealth of experience, exceptional communication skills, and a dedication to fostering a nurturing, inclusive learning environment. She is passionate about helping educational institutions and individuals reach their goals, and she brings innovation and insight into every aspect of her coaching and consulting.
